The Light Brain appeared in 1988 TV series called Choujuu Sentai Liveman. Light Brain is a Brain Beast in Choujuu Sentai Liveman. A monster used by Mazenda to convert the magma from Mount Bandai into Giga Energy. However, an unexpected side effect of the insect life enlarging with shorten lifespans attracted the Liveman team's attention. Managing to stop the Livemen before they change, this monster's attack was blocked by a rhino beetle as its sacrifice gives the Livemen time to change and defeat the monster with the Biomotion Buster. Reformed into a giant by Gash, this monster was destroyed by the Live Robo.
